On March 18, Washdrone.nl, a division of Care2Clean, in collaboration with Gom (Facilicom Group), conducted a successful demonstration at the Royal Flora Holland office. During this demonstration, the team showcased how innovative drone technology can be used for window and facade cleaning on large and complex buildings.
The Washdrone was used to demonstrate various cleaning applications that emphasized safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Thanks to the use of drones, it is possible in many situations to partially or completely replace traditional methods such as aerial work platforms. This allows work to be carried out faster, safer, and often at a lower cost.
Innovative Cleaning Technology
Washdrone’s mobile osmosis system was used for the demonstration. On-site, tap water is filtered into pure osmosis water, after which the drone applies the water in a controlled manner to glass and building facades. This ensures a streak-free result without the use of harsh cleaning agents.
The demo attracted a great deal of interest from stakeholders and clearly demonstrated how drone cleaning can be a valuable addition to modern facility maintenance.
